Uveal melanoma (UM) is characterized by non-random copy number variations (CNV) and mutations that occur in a small amount of genes ( BAP1 , SF3B1 and EIF1AX ). Prognostication of UM patients is possible by either evaluating the CNVs or by detecting mutations in BAP1 , SF3B1 or EIF1AX of UM patients. We have been working on a Cox Proportional hazard model that incorporates CNV, mutation status and clinical parameters of 214 primary UM and these analyses resulted in a C-index of 0.793 which indicates good performance.
